We would like to announce that the concept for the Koyasan Camp 2025 has been redesigned.
In previous years, more than half of the participants at Koyasan Camp were international practitioners, but this year the number of international practitioners seems to be very low.
After discussing this situation with Andrei, we decided to redesign the concept this year to create a more positive trend in yoga culture in Japan.
We decided to change the content to attract new yoga Japanese yoga practitioners, and to change the theme to “Re-learn Yoga”, where the basic principles of yoga will be taught through lectures and practice over five days.
This will be more of an intensive training course than a retreat, with longer lectures and less free time than in previous years. However, participants will be able to take advantage of the early morning and lunch breaks to enjoy a walk around Koyasan.
Of course, international practitioners are welcome, so if the new concept appeals to you, please come to this year’s training in Japan!
This will certainly be an opportunity for international practitioners to “Re-learn Yoga”, and also, in this environment with many Japanese practitioners, you may also learn more about Japanese culture and characteristics.
